I’m happy to announce that as of 10:00 AM PST the final version of the Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is available for download! MSDN subscribers can download the bits immediately with general availability on Thursday, March 10.

 

Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 – Stackoverflow

Does anybody know when Microsoft will release (in their plans or in roadmaps) a ‘service pack’ for Visual Studio 2010?  I know it’s too early to ask, but my client requires a stable release of VS 2010 + .Net 4.0 before going into development of his project.

It is difficult to answer your question but one can at least predict the dates for SP1 release from past trends.
